The Finalists of 2014-2015 CFA Institute Research Challenge in Ukraine are Announced

On behalf of CFA Society Ukraine, we are delighted to announce the grading results of the 2014-2015 CFA Institute Research Challenge in Ukraine.

This year more than 100 students of 27 teams from 11 regions in Ukraine participated in the most prestigious competition in equity research for students world-wide. Due to graders’ results, we are happy to congratulate the following teams with the highest score for written reports and will compete at the Local Final:

• National University of State Tax Service of Ukraine (Faculty Adviser: Olga Pizhuk)

• Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University (Faculty Adviser: Yuriy Verlanov)

• Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Faculty Adviser: Mariya Borovikova)

• Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Faculty Adviser: Pavlo Dzyuba)

  • Zaporizhzhya National Technical University (Faculty Adviser: Irina Nechaeva)

These teams would have a chance to compete for the opportunity to represent Ukraine on EMEA Regional Final during the Local Finals scheduled for February 13, 2015.

We hope these three months of the Challenge were useful for each team and brought a strong improvement in their research practical skills. After these hard-working and exhausting three months, each team is already the winners with their own bundle of knowledge in writing sell-side research report!
