Students of the MSc in Corporate Finance Program at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv are taking steps toward career success through preparation for the CFA ProgramKyiv, Oct. 26, 2012 — Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has become the latest university (and the first in Ukraine) to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. The MSc in Corporate Finance Program has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice within the program. This program positions students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world.
Entry into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit CFA examinations. Through participation in this program, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is eligible to receive a limited number of student scholarships for the CFA Program each year.

The MSc in Corporate Finance Program was established at the Finance Department in 2011 among other new MSc programs aiming to provide systems of applied knowledge and skills required for the changing world of finance. The MSc in Corporate Finance Program can be completed in four semesters on a full-time or part-time basis, with financial disciplines being the core building blocks of the program.
