Invitation to Kick-Off Meeting of the 3rd CFA Institute Research Challenge

Ukrainian Society of Investment Professionals continues such educational initiative as CFA Institute Research Challenge in Ukraine that promotes best practice in investment research among the next generation of financial analysts and provides students with an insight into the investment industry.

This year all teams that wanted to participate in the Challenge had to prepare Industry analysis case study on Grain Trading in Ukraine. On the basis of the results of case study, 25 leading Ukrainian Universities were selected to take part in the 3rd CFA Institute Research Challenge in Ukraine.

Kick-Off Meeting of the Challenge is planned for October 30th, 2012, Kyiv, Institute of Postgraduate Education, 36 Vasyl’kivs’ka street and starts at 12:00. Team’s registration is held from 10:00.

  • Kick-Off Meeting is devoted to:Kernel Presentation followed by Q&A session

  • Introduction of CFA Designation

  • Inspiring session on getting involved into investment profession held by Officials of leading Ukrainian companies

  • Teams acquaintance with mentors
